Niseko Cheese Factory Opens Cafe in August

In June, Niseko Cheese Factory relocated its facility within Niseko Town and opened a new factory. In August, a café will be added to the facility, and customers can taste Japanese sake and wine together with dishes that highlight the deliciousness of cheese.
The size of the new factory is about 380 square meters and cheese storage has been expanded from 4 to 8 storehouses. Monthly production capacity has doubled.
The café will open in early August with a scale of approximately 20 seats. The plan is to offer cheese dishes including pizza topped with a combination of four kinds of cheese such as mozzarella and Gouda and a “croque monsieur” with blue cheese.
The cafe will offer Japanese Sake from the Niseko Shuzo brewery (Kutchan Town) and wine from Osa Winery (Otaru City). It will offer a menu featuring local Hokkaido produce and a special focus on Shiribeshi area ingredients, including dry-cured ham from Charcuterie AKAISHI (Niseko Town).
Niseko Cheese Factory is open every day until the latter half of October from 11:00 am (10:00 am on Sundays) to 5:00 pm.
