Consadole Sapporo sign Thailand international midfielder Supachok Sarachat

On May 12, Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo’s general manager, Mikami Hirokatsu announced that the club has reached an agreement to sign Thailand international midfielder Supachok Sarachat (23) on loan from Thai League 1 team Buriram United F. C. The player is expected to join the team in mid-June at the earliest.
Despite being only 165 cm tall and weighing 62 kg, Supachok is said to be a skillful and fast player, with particularly good one-on-one and shooting abilities. He is a popular player in Thailand, where he is regarded as a “valuable asset”.
During an online press conference held on May 12, general manager Mikami explained the reason for acquiring the player, saying, “We have been aware of him as one of the few candidates for the position for about four years. He is a good fit for Consadole’s style of soccer, which requires speed.” He is expected to play for Sapporo in a ‘shadow striker’ or wing-back position.
Supachok’s contract is expected to expire at the end of the current season in early November, with the option of an extension or permanent transfer at the end.
