Magical glow on floodlit lavender hill
‘Lavender Festa Kamifurano 2022,’ an event at which visitors can enjoy floodlit lavender fields during their peak, was held from July 9 to 18 at Hinode Park in the town of Kamifurano in the Kamikawa region of northern Hokkaido.
A lighting-up ceremony was held on the evening of the first day of the event. When Mayor Saito Shigeru and others rang the bell at the venue, the entire area was transformed into a magical scene, where fireworks were also launched.
