‘Snow Miku’ mask case

‘Snow Miku’ design mask case

Daiichi-gomu, a long-established rubber boot manufacturer in the city of Otaru has marketed a plastic portable mask case featuring an image of ‘Snow Miku,’ the winter version of Hantsune Miku, the virtual idol singer that originated in Sapporo.
The product is the result of a collaboration with Snow Miku’s creators, Crypton Future Media Inc. (Sapporo). The two companies have, until now, collaborated to produce portable spikes that can be fitted to snow boots and shoes, and this is the 3rd such collaboration.
The case is 11.5 cm long, 19 cm wide and 1.3 cm thick. Two designs – a close-up of Snow Miku’s face and a navy colored silhouette of her whole body – have been prepared. The inside of the case is fitted with a deodorizing sheet, a partition that enables used and unused masks to be stored hygienically, and a mirror.
According to Daiichi-gomu, “we hope people can visit Otaru safely while using masks as a means of helping to stop the spread of infection.”
The case costs 1,320 yen and is available from Snow Miku Sky Town in the New Chitose Airport Domestic Terminal Building and its Internet shop, as well as the Daiichi-gomu Internet shop.
