Supachok gives press conference after joining pro football club Consadole Sapporo

Supachok Sarachat (24), the Thai international midfielder who joined Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo, held a press conference at Shiroi Koibito Park in Nishi-ku, Sapporo on June 15, in which he expressed his ambition to “play as well as Chanathip,” another Thai midfielder who was transferred from Sapporo to Kawasaki. Supachok has been given the No. 49 squad number.
Supachok is 169 cm tall and weighs 60 kg but, despite his small stature, is renowned for his skill and speed, and is known as a “valuable asset of Thailand.” Consadole’s general manager Mikami Hirokatsu, who was present at the meeting, mentioned that the club was thinking of using Supachok as a ‘shadow striker,’ saying “Supachok’s speed and agility pose a threat to the opposition. I hope he will understand Consadole Sapporo’s attacking style of football and that he develops into an asset of the team.”
Supachok joined on loan from the Thai League 1 team Buriram United F. C. His loan spell will last from June 1 to December 31. He will be eligible to play as soon as his registration for 2nd period of the J-League, which begins on July 15, has been completed.
