New plan for Kutchan luxury hotel features deal on special top floor room

Chatrium Niseko, a luxury hotel located in the Hirafu area of Central Hokkaido’s town of Kutchan, announced a new plan allowing hotel guests a free upgrade from a standard room to a special “Penthouse” room on the top floor. In anticipation of the State of Emergency Declaration ending, the goal is to enhance guest inflow from the summer tourist season to the autumn slow season.
The Penthouse rooms are located on the top floor of the six story hotel. Guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Yotei and Mount Niseko-Annupuri from these rooms, which are equipped with a living room, dining room, and kitchen plus 2 to 3 bedrooms. The standard price is 70 to 80 thousand yen per 1 night. In the new plan, up to two groups per night from among guests staying in a 50 to 60 thousand yen Suite Room can change their room to a Penthouse with no additional charge.
The new plan commenced on June 1 and will apply for overnight stays until the end of November. By offering luxury rooms at comparatively inexpensive prices, the hotel is targeting increased business from Japanese guests with the goal of increasing guest inflow throughout the entire year. The hotel reported, “From summer through autumn, the weather is great, and it is the perfect season for relaxing while looking out on wonderful scenery. We are excited to offer guests the chance to enjoy that experience in the best rooms.”
