The hotel “Loop” will open on October 2 in a remodeled building in front of JR Yoichi Station in central Hokkaido’s Yoichi Town. The adjoining Spanish cuisine restaurant opened on September 16, before the hotel launch. It serves authentic Spanish cuisine using Yoichi ingredients.
The restaurant is managed by cosmetics and supplements seller “Field of Dreams” (Fukuoka City). Field of Dreams also plans to open a winery, and acquired farmland in the neighboring town of Asahidai in September 2018. Currently, they are cultivating Kerner and Pinot noir wine grapes using half of a six hectare plot.
The restaurant has 70 seats, and includes an open kitchen and wine cellar together with large tables and counter seating in an approximately 200 square meter hall. The manager said, “I’m excited about people trying Spanish cuisine made with the deliciousness of tasty Yoichi seafood, pork, and fruit.”
The second and third floors house the hotel rooms, with 11 rooms total. All rooms are private, with a size of approximately 20-40 square meters. Five rooms have showers, and six rooms come with a hinoki cypress bath. Room fees will be around ten to thirty thousand yen per 1 night (room fee only).
